THIS CHRISTMAS is going to be different from the previous ones I have spent for the past twelve years. Since I married I relocated to Toronto so it will be my first holidays here (as a wife!) with my now-husband and my in-laws.

I am certainly not sad although photos make me nostalgic. From the twinkling lights along Portage Avenue, seeing godchildren, attending holiday parties (food, gift-giving, games, and karaoke combined), making time to see friends that I hardly see due to busy lives, seeing hoarfrost (I do not particularly enjoy the cold weather but I like seeing white branches), making and eating good food, setting-up holiday decor, and spending my holidays with my girls and my family, things will be different for sure. But it is not a bad kind of change, instead I welcome it.
