Last Tuesday, my friends have hosted a bridal shower for yours truly. We went to an event studio located at Wellington where small cooking classes and private functions are held. Together with three more ladies we were graciously welcomed and fed by our lovely host, Mari, sharing cooking tips while making our dinner. I also had the best corn and chorizo soup for dinner, which I am excited to try out! I was never a fan of chorizo (the ones that my mother put in pancit, or Filipino stir-fry noodles), but the Portuguese variant in the chowder was perfect. And it was not spicy too!
I thought the cooking demonstration and dinner was a novel way for my friends to celebrate my wedding, which is happening in a few months. Thank you ladies. 🙂
