A few months back, I thought of dabbing my hands on lifestyle and environmental photography. The first thing that crossed my mind was my friend Des, who operates Sweet Inspirations on the side. Being a previous client, I know how important it is to network with vendors, especially if you run a food-related business. So I pitched the idea of having a photo session to Des and she was more than happy to accept the offer.

After a few schedule mishaps and basically just finding a way to get around our busy lives, we finally found the time (albeit a very last minute one!) to have this shoot! I personally loved the results, as Des’ abode exudes warmth and ‘that vintage feel’ which I really like and almost always incorporate to my work.

Des was scheduled to make three batches of Peach and Blueberry Crisp for a client and “Snow White”, her own take on the very popular and tasty Red Velvet Cake. It didn’t take long for her modest kitchen to smell like a bakeshop. 🙂
