September Long Weekend Cabin

Black and White Canada Film Hasselblad 500c People Personal Upper Ontario

Sharing these photos first as I haven’t had the chance to sit longer in front of the computer to sort through my London photos. Selecting photos to print as an album will take time too, but needed to be done before the holidays as our family’s going to spend another fun Noche Buena with us and it would be the best time to show them the photos.

This is our second year (though not consecutive) that we went to the cabin and while we only returned to the same location (last minute decision led us to getting a small cabin) it was still a great time. There was a day when it rained and was fairly cold but otherwise the weather cooperated. Well, Ontario weather was all over the place this fall – the leaves were red and gold already but still around 20-25C until early October.

I decided to go a bit minimal this time and just brought my new to me Hasselblad 500C. Used Ultrafine Xtreme 100 from the FPP photowalk, Kodak TMAX 400, Rollei RPX400 and Bergger Pancro 400. Four different emulsions that are stunning in their own ways. Self-developed which I haven’t done so in a while, using Kodak HC-110.
