Instagram is a great thing. Since I am relatively new to Toronto it is easier for me to find great places to eat through that platform.

A few weeks ago K and I went to watch TSO and before we went there we headed to Sweet Jesus (106 John Street) for dessert. We had a delicious affogato which unfortunately we had to eat really quickly as food are not allowed even at the lobby of Roy Thompson Hall.

We decided to return after our dinner at La Carnita (no photos because of the lighting but I guarantee it’s so good there) and we had a rocky road soft serve this time. We both love how the ice cream is so dense and despite the crazy toppings it is not too sweet. So good. Definitely the name was not in vain.
