Gastronomy 101: Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill

Canada Canon S110 Digital Food Gastronomy 101 Toronto

IT’S SUMMERLICIOUS 2015! My arrival to Toronto coincided with this year’s Summerlicious 2015. The dates were extended this year due to the PanAm Games hosted by the city. I had a few restaurants on my list but I only get to try one, which is Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill located at 17 Tank House Lane at Distillery District.

We got a bit lucky with the weather so we chose to dine at the patio area although our friends said the interior was nice too so we could have opt to go in instead. But maybe next time.

The place offered a fixe prix menu for $35 + taxes and gratuity (excluding drinks). Aside from the summerlicious menu we also ordered their calamari from the regular menu which was actually good. As with my previous summerlicious experience quite a while back, the servings are a bit smaller, but you get a good deal for the price you pay. I definitely enjoyed the dessert the most. One of our friends ordered the harissa pork chop for main course and chocolate lava cake for desset but were not pictured in this entry.

Enjoy the photos.
