AUGUST 8, 2010 – So I finally visited Joe Black Coffeehouse last Sunday with D. It was scorching hot, and I had to meet up with him because he needs to pick up something that he needs for his job application. So we headed down across Assiniboine Park and we introduced ourselves to this little coffee shop.

I always pass by this area but got curious when I saw it while I was on the bus. I thought it’s nice to check out local specialty coffee shops once in a while you know?

I love the interior! Very warm, inviting and cozy. They also have free wifi too.

As for the menu, it’s not that extensive, but I liked my coffee toffee. 🙂

We headed down to the bookstore after that and I got myself a couple of cookbooks on sale.
