If only weather’s milder. But other than that I won’t complain. No more exams until next year! Destressing with Phoebi on a -35 degree Monday night.

I’ve been trying to catch up with my photography, which is pretty much non-existent lately. I had my Canon AE-1’s battery door fixed last Friday. There’s nothing wrong with it except that the battery door lock is broken and it’s been bothering me for a while. So last Friday I went to this repair shop to have my Nikon D40 sensor cleaned and the AE-1’s camera door fixed. The repair shop took my D40 but told me that they cannot have the AE-1 fixed because they have to change the whole door. What a bummer, I thought.

Luckily another camera store is just around the corner and decided to go there and take my chances. The lady there was really nice, and in no time my AE-1’s camera door was fixed! They only had to change the lock. The front desk lady also said that most of the time the AE-1’s problem is the battery door getting cracks, so mine was different. Well, so that was good.

Anyway Phoebi accompanied me to pick up my D40 this afternoon. Well, the test shot showed that there’s no more sensor dust. Good. I paid them a lot to do it. 😛
